Meet Attorney Veronica DeSantis

My Mission is to Make Life Easier

I started New Chapter Legal because I believe quality legal services should be as convenient as getting dinner delivered.

About Veronica

My Background

I graduated magna cum laude from University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, to which I received a full-tuition scholarship. After graduating, I focused my practice on estate planning and helping people with the probate process. I was formerly an Associate Attorney with Morneau Law, where I helped my clients with estate planning, probate, family law, and guardianship matters. During law school, I gained experience with estate planning, probate, and family law through fulltime internships with Morneau Law, Hage Hodes PA, and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire.

Before attending law school, I received a bachelor’s degree from New York University and a master’s degree from The New School, both in media and communications. I worked in the media industry in New York City for several years, including as a website manager for Mount Sinai Hospital and a social media manager for the TV show Cheaters. Due to my unique background, I became skilled at identifying and utilizing the best digital tools for a job. Learn more about my background

I live in Concord and in my free time I enjoy walking around Main Street, going to the movies, and playing retro arcade and video games.

My Philosophy

I firmly believe that only you know what’s best for yourself and your family. My philosophy is that you set the destination and I provide the legal knowhow to help you get there. I enjoy explaining legal concepts in simple terms, so you have all the information you need to make decisions with confidence. My estate planning documents are written in plain English because I never want to ask you to sign something you can’t understand. My favorite part of being a lawyer is researching the law to better understand its nuances and refine my processes.

I am also proud to have partnered with the Affirming Spaces Project and received training to help ensure that working together will be an easy and comfortable experience for everyone.

My Goals

I started New Chapter Legal because I’m passionate about making traditional legal services as convenient as the other modern services we rely on. I know that when you’re starting a new chapter of your life you don’t have time to take off work or travel to a law office to meet with a lawyer. I firmly believe that there’s no reason getting legal help needs to be more difficult than having your dinner delivered or ordering a ride home. At New Chapter Legal I provide traditional legal services delivered with modern convenience. Learn more about the New Chapter difference
